Red River Valley | You Farm 3000 acres and you owned 1/2 and rented 1/2 it would most likely take $1 million dollars to pay the cash rent and put your crop in.
Now if you had a Paid for line of equipment that it takes to farm 3000 acres in the corn belt, 1500 acres of paid for ground and $1,000,000.00 in cash would not most have far better things to do than FARM???
I don't have the above but if I did not sure I would be bright enough to retire but it would give pause as to what I would do.
Personally I think 90% of all of the ground that is farmed in the US has some kind of debt against it.
