Heil Harvesting, Ulysses KS/Limon CO | Sorry to hear that. This morning on the way to church I noticed the first significant 'blue' in wheat I had seen. We have a beautiful stand of dry land wheat here, great potential but going to slide fast as we get hot and don't get good rain.
Milofarmer, I hope you get a crop for both you and my dad (and everyone else down there). Dad and Philipp are getting old, I sure would like to see them cut one more good crop together. He is planning on going and excited--I hope it doesn't disappoint for everyone.
prmckay--I talked to my guy at Duke Friday, said there was great potential but we needed a rain soon. I hope you get it. I do NOT want to take a swather down there again...
I haven't seen a chisel running yet but I am sure somewhere close to home here someone ran one today. Today was the first day this winter/spring with significant dirt in the air. Only thing worse than not having a crop all winter is watching this one slip. At least we have some cover. |
