| If the twine is breaking while it is still in the chamber, bale tension isn't a likely problem. Excessive tension or density on the bale will generally only cause the bale to break once it has left the chamber; when the bale is free to expand.
Breaking twine or having it pull from the disc can be a few things:
-twine disc tension is too low; may require replacing the twine disc and/or twine disc springs if the baler has a fair bit of use.
-worn twine tensioners snagging the twine; check that the tensioner plates don't have deep grooves in them
-something in the bale chamber, twine strippers or twine fingers knicking the twine; causing it to fail | |
