Fairfield, Mt | Claim payments come from the premium pool that is generated from these policies. This premium pool is generated from the cash from our pockets as well as the gov't subsidy (left pocket) for each policy.
My ultimate question is; where do these excess (if any) monies go to, once these claims have been paid, as it is in the general fund (right pocket) now?
I have not heard or seen where the claims are in excess of the generated premiums. I will have to take a look at the other fellows charts. Especially since we can only insure to a certain percentage of the total value of a crop or income. So there is a built in deductable to the program. | |
