| If you really want to impress her buy a Viking range but $5000 isn't going t o touch it. From someone who has been married almost 44 yrs, and to a caterer, my advice would b e to let her chose what she wants. If she's a good of a cook as you save I have a good idea she will have a preference. Plus it will make your life a whole lot more easy than if you go out & buy something she's not happy with. FWIW, my wife likes an electric convection oven & a gas cook top. You can buy either a dual fuel range or separate pieces. We have had both. She currently has an electric double convection wall oven & gas stove top.
