Lou Malnati's on Wells great place. Maggiano's is good Italian. Public House bar on state street has great "scenery ". The restaurant on top of the Hancock is nice but expensive. Mother hubbard is another good bar.
I second Lou Malnati's, I'll drive 45 min out of my way for Lou's.
