| If you want a machine that your kids probably won't even wear out, go with Hydrotek. Mine is 3000psi @ 3.9 gpm. It's pretty lethal with hot water. Mines electric, belt drive, Cat pump, lifetime warranty on the coil, and 3 year everything else. Shuts off after a minute of not washing to protect the pump. Hotsy is made in Mexico. You will pay at least 2k more for the same capacity machine that will not last as long. Also, stay away from direct drive. The vibration from the motor wears the pump out quicker. There are less than 5 washers made in the US anymore, this is one of them. Local trucking company has over 100 of the machine I have and the dealer told me he gets in one or two a year for minor repairs. Karcher is good but there high quality machines are built in Germany, (cheaper ones in Mexico by hotsy) which means quite a bit more expensive to work on when warranty is out.
