Subject: Thoughts on Linkedin

North East Wimmera district of Victoria.
G'day from Aust.
I'm retiring from farming, but some time ago got 'ínvited' to sign up on Linkedin.
It seems to be a networking site for finding others with similar interests, job prospects, or just for selling your personal qualifictions.
Quite often it would be on my emails saying so and so has seen your profile and would like to be linked [or whattever], and from there you get a list of their associates who, if you know them, can be linked to you as well.
As I am reasonably well knows in our state if Victoria, I was not suprised to track down people I had known say thirty years ago.
But a few of the "do you know" posts had me wondering.
Then one turned up - supposedly from someone who knows me - from a man who has been dead for 18 months!
That got me wondering as to access to my emal address list! I guess I had not deleted him from my contacts.
Just wondering about others Linkedin experience.
Cheers.
