SW OH | There is a vast difference in the hitting your son is doing and the discipline you administer by spanking. His hitting is done in anger and lack of self control. Discipline is administered when you as a parent are calm and in in control of ur emotions and the situation. After the spanking you should hold the child and affirm your love to them. There should be absolutely no anger from you directed at the child. Your son is hitting and lying. You will be doing both of you a favor in the long run if you spank for this too.
