Subject: Re: Hesston Double Conditioner?

Bonanza, Or
The steel on steel single rolls are a fine roll and well proven but the double has a drying advantage. I was looking at a Hesston rotary the other day and the 2nd generation of double conditioner is improved in many ways over the 1st gen like I had on the sickle machine. I intend to order one of the 16' double conditioner rotaries for next season here in a few days.
New baler is running very well, my only complaints with the new series Hesston 3x4 is the twine box with the twine laying on its side and the fact that you cannot release the bale chamber pressure without the bale running. Capacity is far above the 4790 it replaced and bale shape is better as well.
