La Glace Alberta Canada
I am maybe in a little different situation. Usually can't get trucks because they are hauling sand and no money in hauling grain. We went from a chev tandem straight to hauling with super b, still think it's best decision we did. Truck is a truck not matter a box or trailers. Trailers have tires & brakes but boxes have more rust issues & hydraulics. Our nearest elevator is 23 km away so not bad but line up can be issues. I get truck & trailers inspected every year just to keep on top of it usually costs approximately $5000.00 . Truck is a 96 freight liner cab over & trailers are 09 Wilson's both bought used. In talking to my bil seems grain haulers are more readily available in your neck of the woods. More pups showing up here too.
