I have shredded some of the area as a test. First round down to about 3" above the ground and 2nd round as close as possible to the ground. Problem is I still have "little stakes" just waiting for a tire under load (pulling a plow or chisel) to poke through one.

I do not have a root plow attachement for my dozer but I can contract local pond builder who has one
