southern MN | At this time Apple controls the software going on your iPad, it all goes through their store and has to be approved. The iPad operating system is a rather closed thing and not so open to virus.
The good is this means there isn't too much threat today.
The bad is someday there will be, and it will hit everyone hard.
But not much to worry about until then.
Actually we might assume most apps are data collection programs and are just approved spam servers to spy on us without our knowledge, but that would be a cynical view and I'd have to wear tin foil to make such an observation......
