| Be very careful with this one!! Plenty of car lots around here will trade the car in on NADA, but then SELL the car on KBB. In other words, they look for the lower trade value and the higher sell value to enhance margin. This is a nasty technique on used vehicles. If the dealer simply says "BOOK VALUE" and won't tell you which book, beware... or do your homework before you go in to talk to the dealer. Any bank auto loan officer will share NADA info with you, as banks run on NADA for the most part. | |
