| The Detroit series 40 was never in a Deutz-Allis tractor......only an AGCO-Allis tractor. The displacements were DT-408.....DT-466.....DT-530. AGCO never used the 408, only the 466 and 530 cube sizes. Over the years AGCO used it, mechanical fuel injection was first and then the HEUI electronic system was next. This generation engine was never in an IH or Case-IH tractor. It was also a metric fastener engine. | |
