Subject: RE: Drag chains

SESD
I made my own after I couldn't keep the regular ones from plugging. I made a bracket to bolt onto the closing wheel bracket that had a tab on it out the back. I made another "u" that the chain bolts to. The chain "U" is actually upside down and has a 4-5" arm welded in the center to attach to the tab with a bolt. The chain attaches to the bottom of the upside down "U". The chain "U" is about 4-5" wide. I also welded the first 5 links on each side of the drag chain. That made a huge difference on the chain bouncing. My chains are round. They were maybe once square, I'm not sure.
