Yes, John, I am well aware that a lot of economists do not agree with Paul Samuelson.  In the late 1950's, I know for a fact that the U. of MN, ISU, and most small colleges in the Midwest, were using his textbook.  I see there are still some used books available on Amazon.  See this link:
