How do soil savers compare to chisel plows? I wouldn't think the straight gang would take too much power.

Have experience with 3pt mounted 7 and 9 shank chisel plows, both with twisted shovels. Hilly ground from rocky loam to modest clay.

7 shank behind 80hp IH 786. Pulled okay. 6 weights up front.
7 and 9 on a 100 hp MFWD Case 2094, 7 was a toy, 9 was a good fit.
9 on a 160 hp Case 2390. Nearly a toy pulling, but the front was light, didnt have weights to put on it then.
