| To contribute the growth of prosperity to anything other then advancements in technology is foolish and sort sighted. Of course we are going to have it better then people 100 years ago when we have widespread use of antibiotics vaccines cars tractors irrigation and vastly improved crop genetics.
Taking on personal debt is one thing. For other people to placed in debt by those before them before they are even born is immoral and will lead to ruin. The individual has very little choice in this matter. The current financial system purely benefits those in control of it to everyone elses dismay
