I'm sure you're right about there being a lot of loans done this way. These do not put new money into circulation. What we are referring to is when the big banks create new money when they make loans. This, actually, is how most of the money has been created in recent years.
Now, if I'm wrong about any of the things I say, I would hope someone would correct me. I type what I think is right, and, other than when I respond to OldMcdonald, what I say might not be correct. (VBG)
