No I did not understand it prior to just a few years ago.
And I was a director on the board of directors for a bank for six years.
I would say if a person read and understood that PDF file he would understand more about banking than 99.9% of the first world population and probably more than a significant portion of the people that work daily in banks.
Next economic question. WHY is debt so prevalent throughout the world today?
