Our government, along with the help of the Wall Street controlled financial industry, is a parasite that seems to be intent on killing its middle class host.
I just quoted this to emphasize it.
And, actually, I'm beginning to believe that it's worse than that. We, the middle class, are supporters of the poor and prey for the rich. But, I fear that it's even worse than *that*. Think about how the "ruling class" sees those of us in the middle class. Davos, from something I heard, was much about two things - climate change and wealth disparity (worldwide, not just here). Climate change is all about redistributing wealth - along with, of course, the siphoning off from the flow of money from one to the other by the ruling class. And, picture a world with a severely reduced middle class. The ruling class would still be there - and the poor would not be bothered by that, since there always seems to be an acceptance of "royalty". And the poor would not have the middle class to envy. I can see where the ruling class would think it would be an easier world to rule.
OK, John, am I floating off in conspiracy land?? (BG) |
