SE SD | A couple years back we went through several belts. The cylinder bars were wore and the combine wasn't feeding properly. BIL can,t hear and won,t get a aid so he didnt hear the feederhouse clutch slipping. The side of the combine broke out and the whole cylinder was bouncing up and down. I just told him to put it in the shed and we would finish with one combine. Alot of good advice in previous posts but make sure that the feeder house is adjusted properly and it is feeding evenly or you will have more than belt problems like us it took about $4000 to get ours fixed up but was good as new when we got it back. | |
