Central NE | I was asking the same question you were this Fall. BenP told me about a dry rig that I ended up buying on BigIron in December. It was more than 1/4 the cost of its equivalent new, but needed some work. Come check it out if you want, im just north of you.
I do like the significant savings I will get using dry, plus going to Kansas and picking it up myself will save me $1200 every 30ton...plus $7-8/acre application fee. Just part of my plan to becoming independent from the CO-Ops. It will pay for itself in 2 years. | |
