The big question is what are you doing with potash? If you are broadcasting and okay with continuing to broadcast K prior to stripping, then liquid P looks attractive especially if you are putting gas on. A liquid system is pretty simple and cost effective compared to a dry box. I've kept track of APP and MAP prices for a few years now. Most of the time APP cost is $6-7 more for 80 lbs of actual P. If you do any P infurrow that margin gets even less. Also 30% of APP is available right away. So let's say 80 lbs is applied, 24 is available immediately. That's a lot more than the 5 lbs available with a typical infurrow APP and broadcast MAP system.
