Thanks for share that bit of knowledge on the cross flow vs. Paddle fan. That fan air flow design in the IH drives me nuts. After being around Gleaners for years that is.

Dad still loves telling the story when he first had he "E" he was shelling corn in the snow. A couple neighbors didn't understand how he could keep running. The chaffer and sieves were freezing over on the Massey(s) (pair of 410's I think) they were running at the time. That dual paddle fan setup in the old Gleaners moved a lot of air. And so does the "Transverse Flow Fan"

I love to have the time to replace the Auger bed in my 1660 with a raddle chain from a Gleaner and figure out how to install a second fan and direct air over top of the raddle chain.

Don, Thank you for sharing your Mod's. Work you do is great and then taking or remembering to take to the time to shoot pictures and taking the time share them on here. Priceless. I look forward to looking at to pictures once a can get out from behind a Firewall that blocks them...
