Subject: I have a home made tailings setup. (pics)

I needed more tailings volume ability, so I made my own.;-) It's a crude looking thing, and you'll notice the old Gleaner influence with the telescoping tube, but it has made it 10 years now with only 2 bearing replacements and no other issues. It's never plugged and I can set the shoe anywhere I want to without worry. This is likely a location ordeal as a corn grower may not have any use for it, but "here" in seed country, the tailings elevators limiting capacity is the topic of a lot of conversations. The folks that bought new machines,......the topic gets rather heated at times.;-) I have tons more pics if you want to see how it is driven.

Oh, and those bearings that I replaced on the tailings?.............NON PROPRIETARY !!!!! I could get them at walmart on sunday evening if I wanted to.......;-).......................for about 10 cents on the cih dollar even.......................;-) Heh, heh.......oh how i love non proprietary parts.
