southern MN | Edit - oh, got it, was looking at the chimney itself, missed the dual units on the same flue. I understand now.

What part is wrong? Depending on his roof height, he might be tall enough to clear the peak of the roof and thought that was a key, to get a certain height relative to the peak?
I'm just asking, I don't know much on this and want to learn....
