I would love to go to spring to avoid leeching but I am just too afraid of a wet spring and running out of time or not getting in to sidedress afterwards.
I read some research a few months back discussing the nitrogen leaching rates of Fall versus Spring application and from what I can recall, there was very little difference (contrary to what has traditionally been thought). I only wish I could remember where I read the information so you all could read it. |
