Sorry I don't have any pictures as its buried in corn.  Our sweep is a Grain saver and the rear cover lends itself perfectly to the back stop.  I tested out the theory by holding a shovel at the bearing support.  Then later I was bitching about it and the neighbors said they used the belting and it cured the problem.
