Thank you for the explanation. This very much makes sense.
The only thing I would add is that deflation generally causes defaults in today's environment of excessive credit and the Fed is clear about doing everything possible to stop these; with their only motive to save banks. So money printing should continue but as you state a lot more might be printed before confidence is lost and the dollar collapses.
