Have to remembr inflation of the '70's -land started here around $400 acre and by '80 it was $3,000+.....started in the working world in '71 @ $2.50 hr. ,maybe a few more skills but when I left too farm full time in '77 wages were $9.50 hr. ......... built house in '77 ,carpenter & 2 student/laborers was $10 for the 3 ($5 ,$2.5,$2.50)...........house with plaster on main floor,basement unfinished,new well,septic was $30 sq. ft. ...inflation can be as creul as debt can be
