The point when the maximum amount of bushels are being harvested at one time. 100% of corn/soybeans become usable/available in those two months. Gut slot refers to the maximum pressure on basis/spreads/space/freight during that time frame We do not have times like that in the ethanol industry. Just because stocks are building incrementally does not mean it is gut slot. Heck, we are not even near full carry.
