Subject: RE: John - inflation/deflation - probably one after the other

Farm land is where I have most of my net worth too. I do fully expect it to decline - maybe by 1/2 even. My problem is that if I sold it, I wouldn't have a clue where else to put the money. Is there anything that could not drop to 1/2 value in the next decade? Isn't there the possibility that the extremely wealthy could be sitting on huge amounts of wealth (paper) and the supply of money available to the rest of us is very limited? Our assets then could easily be taken by taxes and given to the poor - while the extremely wealthy pay little. And, with what is going on at Davos (supposedly), it might not only be the poor of this country.

What I fear is that we may have been born, grown up, and lived our lives in the best time in history - a time never to be seen again.

Time to go back to the river and go fishing again . . .
