Subject: RE: Okfarmer has some good points

Hazelton, Kansas 6.75 miles N of Crowbar
5/16 cold roll rod with a T handle on 1 end and a 3/8 steel ball welded to the other. I have a 4' and a 6'. Keep the 4' in pu, 6' is for "bragging". Tried the early beans early years ago with limited success. Settled on 3.8-3.9s. Neighbor likes 4.6 types for first crop. Depends who gets the rain in August as to who "wins". We both use 5s for DC. Did early milo early for years until they changed the parentage of my favorite hybrid. Would plant first of April or sooner. Now Medium fulls with good stay green. Plant when ever. 30" rows. Ran out of water in August and it all fell over. Picked it all up with a Ray-Mac. Yields still 85 to 105. Cheers, Dirt
