I was wondering the same thing about getting fertilizer spread in winter. It would be a time saver in the spring. Our fields are in pretty good shape for winter and don't have a lot of ponds or snow. Less than usual for michigan. Another thing is there would be zero compaction if we could do it right now and that would be a big benefit.
