Subject: RE: WHAT KIND TO BUY- ROTARY MOWER (NEW)

Bullitt County Kentucky
I own and operate a commercial mowing business. We do highway right-of-way mowing, as well as several large tracts of real estate in as of yet undeveloped industrial parks. Currently operate 12 batwing mowers behind 100 to 160 hp tractors. Here's what my experiences with a variety of brands tells me;

Avoid Woods and John Deere like the plague. Even their best heavy duty models are not very durable in my book.

I like Bush Hog 2715L mowers, but have good luck with all the various Alamo brands.

Had one Landpride and found it to be OK, but not up to the standards of comparable Bush Hog as far as durability in extended rough use.

Also, I've found Bush Hog parts to be less of a hassle to get in a hurry.
