I've done this a lot, as Q Pro is all I used to use. You may lose some of the formatting, but I never had any problems getting the formulas and arguments to carry forward. If you have the option of more than one Excel type of file, use the "latest", maybe even try a couple of different ones to preserve as much of the Q Pro design as possible.
