Ashburn, GA, (very close to Heaven!) | Hmm, I found the opposite to be true on my system! I used Norton for years, with McAfee on this and two other systems for a couple of years.
Once I learned how to schedule my scans for late at night when I am not using the computer, I've been fine. It astounds me how many anti virus applications "default" scan time is the middle of the day. GO FIGURE! This may not have been the issue with your AVG at all.
You know, computers, the software and files on them, and the people running them are all very different. What works well on one may not be well suited for the next. |
