What hasn't been asked is, adding extra N pay using the Y-drops? This last year we had a neighbor come and Y-dropped 4 different variates of corn and two strips in lite and heavy ground. In all cases the extra N looked better all season but at harvest yielded less. This was all on 7 yr coc ground. We were all for the Y-drop practice but now are confused.
