Used Y-drops for 2 years, worked great. No problems on end rows just lift boom up a little and turn. Only negative is filling up a lot if you are doing 30 gal per acre. In 2014 we added a 4930 with Agleader dry box so we could side dress with urea, a lot faster if you have a small window. Dry seems to be a better fit for me but everyone has a different situation. I have 23 Y-Drops with brackets that would fit a 4830 if you are thinking about going that way.
