We have been almost 100% no till for a long time but over the last 4-5 years we have started growing more corn on corn. We are now closer to 2/3 corn 1/3 beans. Have been pretty interested in strip till but dad is very concerned about staying on the strip with the rolling odd shaped fields we have. So we are in search of an newer tillage tool.

Considering the soil structure that you have built up from the lack of tillage over past few years, have you demo'd any strip till equipment? The more aggressive the tillage goes, the greater the level of soil structure destruction. Moldboard plowing is about the most extreme example of destruction, plus it creates an extreme level of abrupt soil density change. If you're coming out to the FPS, the Soil Warrior that I posted pictures of this spring is going to be parked just north of the show grounds in a field it ran in.
