| 4 years ago I had a 6 row for 700 acres corn plus edible beans
Got tired of the seat time ESP with just dad and I around
Looked for a twelve, ended up with a 16 for 2000$ more. Best thing ever. Now plant 1100 corn and 400 edible beans a year. Buy the biggest best maintained planter you can afford. Go over it top to bottom, put new PPlanting parts on it and you will be happy.
IMO way too much money is spent on big capacity harvest Eq and not near enough on planting eq. IMO there is no such thing as too much planting capacity.
