Are you using the tray or bypass? It may be your printer won't handle paper as narrow as an envelope
My best luck with envelopes was an old Lexmark ink jet that fed from a vertical tray. I dedicated it just to envelopes. The envelope didn't have to bend much. My old Lexmark and older Epson died and I have yet to find a good replacement. Everyone seems to want to put the paper source in a closed drawer.
Are you using envelopes that say they are for a printer? It can make a difference.
I looked your printer up on Amazon and checked reviews. Someone asked if it printed envelopes. One response was
The directions say you can but I have not been able to do it
