A crop removes nutrients from the soil. These nutrients come from the inherent fertility of the soil and from crop residue, fertilizer, litter, or other material we apply. Look at the chemical analysis of the product in question.

How can several gallons of a product replace maybe say a couple hundred lbs. of potash for example?? Look at the lbs. of a particular nutrient a crop is removing and ask the rep of the product in question how the low rate of his product is going to supply what's needed.

Finally, ask for documentation from research. The answer I receive about research is that's it's too costly for them to have done.

I'm not in any way saying there are products on the market that don't work. Just show me the proof and I'll be the first to try them.
