I think the options are. Rolling packers behind front disk gang. On the shanks you can either go with springs or danish tines style. On rear you can either do spike harrow or spring style harrow and then packers again on rear. I bet you don't even have to get harrow or packers on the rear.
As far as horse power we have a 29 or 30 foot machine and sometimes our 8430 stuggles. Especially if you are going deep with it.
I have had stalks drag and pile when in corn stalks. I think to avoid this problem you will have to pull it deep. We used to have a Krause lands tar and I think I kinda miss it over the 6333. We mainly use ours ahead of planter to smooth ground. We pull a sunflower rolling packer behind it.
