It was tough, I know exactly what you are saying. Felt like hanging it up, what's the point.
Bad on the older generation to not include a person, just view them as cheap/ free labor.
But you can't change them it doesn't work that way, either stick it out, find a different way to make it work, or move on.
I don't think they will ever really see where you are coming from.
I wish I had an answer for you, I lived it and I still don't really.
