1 heaping or about darn near 1½ table spoon of Folgers dark roast per cup of coffee. Use a coffee maker with a cone filter to give the water more time to soak up the coffee flavors. The Bunn coffee maker at the church makes good coffee provided it's had about double the amount of coffee most people put in it. And there are actually a few other people that like their coffee strong like I do or like most Dutch folks do. Been drinking coffee for 40 years or so. Started it out with some milk in it and lots of sugar. Came to the US and the coffee here is more like tea to us Dutch folks. lol Been drinking it black ever since. Some say my coffee is strong enough to straighten horse shoes! |
