SCMN | There are some pretty bad looking fields with tons of volunteer corn around here but most everybody controls their weeds. If you paid for RR then why not use it. If they all go to seed you will have trouble for years. As far as volunteer corn goes we spray most of our fields for it. Some guys have so much corn in their beans it looks disgusting! We like to have nice clean fields. I think it says alot about how a farmer operates. I'm not sure what economic benefit it may have. Will enough corn in the beans hurt the yield? What is the threshhold? | |
