Subject: Hand snow shovels, that you like?

Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

I find myself using a stiff bristle broom, on snow that is from .25" -2" deep, then switch over to the old farmer's scoop shovel, BUT it is slow. I know years ago, a friend had a really big, flat scoop/sled, that you scoop a bunch, then tip it down and it slides over the top of other snow, to go here you want to dump it = he bragged that he didn't have to "lift" to snow to move it. He would just flip over the sled/scoop thingy, to dump, then pull it backwards to go get another load (I never saw it, but got the idea it took 36"-48" scoopfuls)

Just want to see what you guys are using and impressed with, for cleaning in front of 2 car garage doors, sidewalks, and maybe a 30' x 20' slab in front of a building, WHEN it isn't enough snow to start a tractor up, in the cold.

Thanks.
